Raymond M. Dickson

NORTH BENTON – Raymond M. Dickson, 88, of North Benton, died Saturday at Alliance Community Hospital.

Born Nov. 27, 1925, in McKefre, W. Va., he was son of the late John and Annie (Hill) Dickson.

Mr. Dickson was the owner operator of Ray and Son Brake Service for over 60 years. He attended Emmanuel Lutheran Church. An Army veteran, he received a Purple Heart.

Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Katherine C. (Endekas) Dickson, whom he married on Aug. 18, 1945; three daughters, Connie Funk of Indian Town, Fla., Kathy Rogers of North Benton and Linda Ciotti of Alliance; a son, Dale Dickson Sr. of North Benton; 19 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Mark Dickson.

Per his request, cremation has taken place.

Arrangements were handled by the Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home in Sebring.
