WASHINGTONVILLE – Judy Altman, 68, died at 6:05 p.m. Friday, April 4, 2014 at her home
Judy was born April 29, 1945 in Salem, the daughter of the late Emory and Dorothy (Hoffee)?Paulin.
She was a member of the Lisbon Baptist Temple. Judy was an election poll volunteer and past president of the Columbiana Lions Club. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her husband, David L. Altman Sr., whom she married Sept. 19, 1970.
She is also survived by two sons, Randall (Tiffany) Altman of New Garden, and David L. (Sonya) Altman Jr. of Lewis Center; two daughters, Georgane Currie of Columbiana and Bethanne Sacerich of Rome, Ohio; adopted children Paula (Mike)?Criss, Carol (Pete)?Lyons, Tim (Gina)?Byers, James (Michelle)?Hurst, and Kenny (Heidi) Grimm; three sisters, Patricia (Tom)?Hall of Lisbon, Peggy (Mike) Scullion of Lisbon, and Barbara May of Hanoverton; two brothers, Bob (Michalene) Saunier of Homeworth and Don (Marsha) Paulin of Salem; 29 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Judy was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Lee Paulin.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Stark Memorial Funeral?Home, with Pastor Matthew Phillips officiating. Calling hours will be Monday from 5-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in care of Judy Altman, to the Huntington Bank, 795 W. Main St., Washingtonville, Ohio 44490.
A memorial benefit will be held April 26, 2014 at VFW Post 5532 in Washingtonville, 575 S. County Road, starting at 4 p.m.
