Molly Bridget (Hamilton) Bledsoe
SALEM – Molly Bridget (Hamilton) Bledsoe. 66, of Salem, died at 8:38 a.m. Wednesday in the Emergency Room of Salem Regional Medical Center.
She was born on May 7, 1947 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Thomas Anthony and Genevieve Michael (Gorman) Hamilton.
She had been employed as a book editor of the TV Guide Magazine in Radner, Pa., then as a finisher of industrial ceramic products at Metsch Refractory in Chester, W.Va. She also served one term as the Union President. A member of Salem St. Paul’s Catholic Church, she was a 1965 graduate of Salem High School.
She is survived by her husband, Stephen L. Bledsoe whom she married on July 12, 1969; her son, Master Sgt. Stephen (Mich) Bledsoe and two granddaughters of Huntsville, Ala.; siblings, Anne (Richard) Huffman of Salem, Thomas (Pam) Hamilton of Bend, Ore., and John Hamilton of Salem.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon in Salem St. Paul’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Steven Wassie serving as the Celebrant.
The family will receive friends and family from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest by her parents in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Hamilton, County, Cincinnati, Ohio.
