Patricia Russell

Patricia (Pat) Russell, loving and caring wife of James (Jim) Russell, passed away on March 30th at their home in Leesburg, Fla., after a lengthy illness and finally succumbing to lung cancer. She is now at peace and we are sure her spirit is sending good wishes to her family and friends as they sent prayers and good wishes to Pat and her family during this difficult time.

Pat was born in Louisville, Ky., on April 14, 1944 and is survived by her husband Jim at their home at Guilford Lake; son Jon Russell, wife Jackie and granddaughter Laura of Sunriver, Ore., and Phoenix, Ariz.; son Tyler Russell, wife Jessica and granddaughters Vida and Izel of Wenatchee, Wash.

A brother, Harry Gamble, and sister-in-law Cathy of Fall City, Wash., and Leesburg, Fla., also survive along with nephews Ian Russell, Miles Russell and Ryan Gamble; nieces Kim Russell, Liza Feiber, Lori Robertson and Tami Woodward and numerous cousins in this area.

Pat was a member of the New Garden Methodist Church where she and Jim were married Aug. 1, 1964. She graduated in 1960 from United High School and attended Kent State University.

In the early 1970s Pat was the Director of the Stark County March of Dimes but primarily devoted her time and life to being a homemaker and mother. Most recently, since 1995 and prior to her long illness, she worked part-time at Pottery City Antique Mall in East Liverpool, a business she and Jim have owned and managed for the past nineteen years.

She was preceded in death by her father Wilfred Gamble, mother Nellie Gamble and many aunts and uncles.

Pat was a wonderful person and will be missed by all who knew her. Remembrances may be directed to the Alice Clewell Scholarship Fund at United Local Schools, 8143 State Rt. 9, Hanoverton, OH 44423.

A memorial service will be held as a celebration of her life at the New Garden Methodist Church on June 14, 2014 at 1 p.m.

May her soul rest in peace and have comfort knowing that her many difficult battles are no more.
