Clyde C. Gandee
ALLIANCE – Clyde C. Gandee, 95, of Alliance, died Thursday at his home.
Born Nov. 30, 1918, in Clendenin, W. Va., he was the son of the late William and Lulia (Short) Gandee.
Mr. Gandee was a Navy veteran and retired from American Steel Foundries in 1980. He was a member of the Home Mission Church.
Survivors include his children, Ronald (Karen) Gandee of Grafton W.Va., John (Cheryl) Gandee of Wimauma, Fla., Daniel (Ruth) Gandee of Alliance, James Gandee of West Salem, Samuel (Josefa) Gandee of Higginsport, Thomas (Melissa) Gandee of East Sparta and Curtis (Roberta) Kidd of Beloit; 27 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Goldie, on Sept. 13, 1991; two daughters, Naomi Taylor and Nancy Fitzgerald.
A funeral service will take place at noon Wednesday at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Park in Beloit.
