Delbert N. “Brownnie” Brown

ROGERS – Delbert Brown, 84, of Rogers, Ohio passed away on Monday, April 28, 2014.

He was born on Sept. 13, 1929, the son of Melvin and Olive Brown.

He worked as a heavy equipment operator and retired as a foreman at IMS.

Delbert was a 25 year member of the East Palestine Masonic Lodge No. 417 and a lifetime member of the Rogers Rod and Gun Club. Brownnie was an avid fisherman, hunter and storyteller all of his life.

He will be sadly missed by his surviving family, his sons, Jeff (Debbie) Brown of Lisbon, Roger Brown and Lynn Brown of Washingtonville; his three daughters, Penny (Sam) Colundrello of Columbiana, Candy (Norm) Fisher of Anoka, Minn., and Debbie Brown of Rogers; his seven grandchildren and his six great-grandchildren.

Preceding Delbert were his parents; his loving wife, Viola, whom he married on Aug. 14, 1965, his daughter, Vicki Wischerman; his two brothers, Melvin and George and his four sisters, Peggy, Mary, Norma and Ruth.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014 from noon to 3 p.m. at the Fellowship Hall of The Church of the Nazarene in Lisbon, Oho with Brian Brown officiating.

Arrangements for Delbert were entrusted to the Borowski Funeral Service and Oak Meadow Cremation Services.
