June E. Miner
SALEM – June E. Miner, 85, of Salem, died at 12:20 p.m. Thursday, May 8, 2014 at the Circle of Care with her family by her side. She was born Nov. 2, 1928 in Salem, daughter of the late Samuel and Mary (Metz) Pasco.
June was a 1945 graduate of Salem High School and before her retirement in 1991, she had worked at P.C.C (formerly T.R.W.) for 22 years. She was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
Four sisters, Virginia Stokes, Josephine Smith, Mary Jane Anderson and Jeane R. Ritchey; six brothers, Anthony, Joseph, James, Frank, Julius and Robert Pasco and a granddaughter, Carla Marie Wright also preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Alan Miner of Lexington and Michael Miner of Henderson, Nev.; a brother, William Pasco of Mesa, Ariz,; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 12, 2014 at the Grandview Cemetery Chapel with Pastor Alan Smearsoll officiating. Calling hours will be held one hour prior to the services at the chapel. Burial will be at Grandview Cemetery.
