Robert George Fogle

LEETONIA – Robert George Fogle, 72, of state Route 558, died at 3:35 p.m. Tuesday at Salem Region Medical Center following a lengthy illness.

Mr. Fogle was born July 28, 1941 in Youngstown, a son of George J. Marie D. Hromyak Fogle and had lived in Leetonia since 2001 coming from Rogers.

He was a manager for Sohio and Boron gas stations in East Liverpool and Chester, W.Va. He had also worked for Veterans Outreach in Youngstown. He was a member of Ernest Angley Ministries in Akron.

He is survived by his wife, the former Ann Smith, whom he married Aug. 27, 1967; a daughter, Lisa D. Bentfeld of Leetonia; a son, Rob Fogle of Chattanooga, Tenn.; a sister, Darlene; three grandchildren and a great granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Fogle.

Funeral services will be held at noon Friday at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana with the Rev. James Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Salem. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at the funeral home.
