Frances “Sue” Ehrhart

SALEM – Frances “Sue” Ehrhart, 80, of Salem, died Tuesday night, June 3, 2014 at the St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown with her family by her side.

She was born June 24, 1933, in Canton, Ohio, daughter of the late Nicholas and Ruth (Kenworthy) Goddard.

Sue was a 1950 graduate of Salem High School and before retiring in 2003, she was a travel agent with AAA for 37 years. She was a member of the Salem First Friends Church and an avid reader.

Her husband, William “Bill” Ehrhart, whom she married March 26, 1951, preceded her in death Feb. 26, 2001. A sister, Becky Everett, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include two daughters, Diane (Larry) Stout of Salem and Denise (Drew) Green of Salem; four grandchildren, Todd (Tiffany) Stout of Kensington, Tadd (Emily) Stout of Salem, Jennifer (Dave) Karlen of Beloit and Jason Green of Salem; five great-grandchildren, Ethan, Lucy and Abbie Stout and Zak and Lexi Karlen; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 6, 2014, at the Salem First Friends Church with the Rev. Pete Fowler officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Cemetery.
