Betty Jean Miller
NORTH LIMA Betty Jean Miller, 85, of North Lima, died early Wednesday morning at Hospice House with her family by her side.
Born Nov. 12, 1928, in Dayton, she was the daughter of Verne and Thelma Hyre.
She was preceded in death Nov. 26, 2013, by her husband, Charles Raymond Miller, whom she married Dec. 17, 1945.
Mrs. Miller was a homemaker. She was a member of Zion Hill Church of the Brethren.
Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy M. Miller of Youngstown and Karen D. (Robert) Boyce of Frostburg, Md.; four sons, Lloyd V.(Pam Garver) Miller of Greenford, Raymond A. (Angie) Miller of North Lima, Russell Miller of Finland, and Steven C. (Sandy) Miller of Hermitage, Pa; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by a son, William E. Miller.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. July 26 at Zion Hill Church of the Brethren, 14550 New Buffalo Road, Columbiana, with Pastor Peter Fowler of First Friends Church officiating. A luncheon for family and friends will follow at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Betty’s memory to the First Friends Church,1028 Jennings Ave., Salem, Ohio 44460.
