John Eugene Neiheisel
JUDSONIA, Ark. – John Eugene Neiheisel, 89, was born to Henry H. and Helen A. Ketchum Neiheisel, on May 10, 1925, in East Palestine, Ohio, and passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2014, in Judsonia, Ark.
He served in the United States Army being stationed in the South Pacific from 1944 until 1946. Upon his return he married Janice L. Bussard. He was a lifelong farmer and also worked for Kaiser Refractory in Columbiana, Ohio.
Mr. Neiheisel retired in 1989 after working for Kaiser for 34 years. He moved to Judsonia, Ark., in 1993 and continued farming until his death.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Daniel Tomidajewicz; and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Janice L. (Bussard) Neiheisel; 11 children, John (Carol) Neiheisel of Sugar Creek, Ohio, Frances (Dominic) Tomidajewicz of Salem, Ohio, Ruth (Ralph) Quintana of Beaumont, Calif., Paul (Martha) Neiheisel of Ackworth, Ga., Katherine (Gregg) Oesch of Salem, Ohio, Robert (Kim) Neiheisel of Leetonia, Ohio, Richard (Janis) Neiheisel of Montezuma, Ga., Margaret Seese of Judsonia, Ark., Glenn (Cindy) Neiheisel of Columbiana, Ohio, Charles (Diana) Neiheisel of Holts Summit, Missouri, Mary Alice Neiheisel of Judsonia, Ark.; 27 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
