George A. Reynolds Jr.

LISBON–George A. Reynolds Jr., 91, of Lisbon died Friday night at the Vista Center in Lisbon following a brief illness.

Born Aug. 12, 1925 in East Liverpool, he was a son of the late George A. and Eva Cook Reynolds Sr. and had lived in the Lisbon area the last 40 years, prior to that, a resident of Ravenna. He worked as an inspector at the Chrysler Stamping Plant in Twinsburg, Ohio until his retirement in 1987 after over 25 years of service.

Presbyterian by faith, he was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy.

Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by his wife, Sheila Morris Reynolds, whom he married Oct. 15, 1948. He leaves behind two daughters, Veronica Koch and her husband, August, of Ravenna, and Treva Reynolds of Lisbon; and two sons, James Reynolds of Ravenna, and Michael Reynolds and his wife, Sheila, of Columbus Grove, Ohio; as well as three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a sister, Barbara Melvin of Monroe, Mich.

Friends may visit the family from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Dawson Funeral Home in East Liverpool. The Rev. Dr. Stephen Cramer will conduct a funeral service at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park where the Tri-State Veterans Burial Group will conduct military honors.

Following the service, family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center for fellowship.
