Elmer A. Maly

SALEM — Elmer A. Maly, 96, of Sebring died at 8:35 a.m. Friday at the Crandall Medical Center.

He was born Aug. 12, 1920 in Cleveland, a son of the late Joseph and Bertha (Troyan) Maly.

Elmer worked 35 years for Ohio Bell and retired as an engineer. During World War II he served in the United States Army.

His wife, Elizabeth June (Toth) Maly, whom he married Sept. 19, 1941 preceded him in death on July 5, 1987.

Survivors include Betty Schleimer of Salem; two sons, Dennis (Nancy) Maly of Ponte Vedra, Fla. and Jeffry Maley of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a daughter, Janet (Tom) Busta of Danville, Calif., seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements were handled by the Stark Memorial Funeral Home.
