Dean A. Roush

SEBRING — Dean A. Roush, 85, of Sebring, died Wednesday at Aultman Hospital in Canton.

Born March 6, 1932, in Haydenville, Ohio, he was the son of the late Andrew L. and Florence (Crothers) Roush.

Mr. Roush was an Air Force veteran, stationed at Sheppard Air Force Base in Texas where he served as the editor of the Sheppard Senator in 1955. He retired in 1994 as a railroad clerk from Norfolk Southern Railroad (formerly Nickel Plate) after 43 years of service.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Roush, whom he married on June 7, 1986; two daughters, Karen (Roger) Osivnik of Akron, Bonnie (Wayne) Wallace of North Royalton; three stepchildren, Sherry (Joseph) McCumber of Champion, Terri (Edward) Kozlowski of Pierpont and Jacqueline Kochis of Parma; 11 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and a sister, Janet (Ray) Benton.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Alliance with the Rev. Timothy Muse officiating.

Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will take place at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Hope Memorial Gardens in Hinckley, Ohio.
