PLAINWELL, Mich. — Leroy England, 88, died Oct. 1 at home.
He was born Sept. 4, 1929 in Ellsworth Ohio the son of the late Herbert England and Ethel (Shirk) England. He resided on the family farm until 1969 when he moved his family to East Palestine.
On Sept. 3, 1954 he married Shirley Greenawalt from Salem, Ohio who survives. They moved to Ft. Myers, Fla., in 1983 where they resided until 2006 when they moved to Michigan.
Mr. England had been a farmer, truck driver, worked in construction and owned a paint and body shop for years.
He is survived by his wife Shirley; their daughter Debbie (Dave) Cobb of Plainwell, Mich.; a brother, Richard (Marlene) England of East Palestine; sisters, Judy (Bunk) Godsey of Alliance and Myrtle Geho of Salem; and a special niece, Cindy (Tony) Moszynski of Canonsburg, Pa.
He was a member of the Otsego Michigan Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses where a memorial service was held Oct. 21.
