Lynn Etta Coppersmith
SALEM — Lynn Etta Coppersmith, 68, of Salem, died on Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017, at her home, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on May 25, 1949, in Pittsburgh, Pa., a daughter of the late Herman and Nadene (Eshenbaugh) Wolff.
Lynn worked at Worthington in Salem, later known as Ventra Plastics for 21 years, retiring in March of 2015. She attended the Salem Bible Church and enjoyed fishing, boating and gardening. She had a love for animals, especially her beloved dogs. Lynn found great peace in knowing that she would be reunited with her son Jason and the rest of her family in heaven.
She is survived by her husband, Lynn G. Coppersmith, whom she married on Aug. 1, 1992; a stepdaughter, Sherie Catstevens of Texas; two stepsons, James Coppersmith of Texas and Scott Coppersmith of Salem; four sisters and a brother. Also surviving are six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Lynn was preceded in death by her son, Jason Stenger; and a brother.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 8, 2017, at the Salem Bible Church with Pastor Doug DeMar officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall. Burial will be at a later date at the Oakdale Cemetery in Leetonia.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home in Leetonia.
