Marsha L. Groves Harp
SALEM – Marsha L. Groves Harp, 78, of Salem, died at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2017, at her home.
She was born Sept. 3, 1939, in Lisbon, the daughter of the late Walter and Mary Jane (Shoe) Coppock.
Her first husband, Harry Groves, whom she married in 1959, preceded her in death in 1985. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Dembek.
Marsha was a 1957 graduate of Salem High School and a resident of this area her entire life. She enjoyed spending time with her daughters, family and friends. She was a wonderful cook and hosted holiday get-togethers in her younger years. She was an avid Steelers fan and loved watching the games. She will be deeply missed.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas F. Harp, whom she married Sept. 13, 2005; three daughters, Teri (John) Nally of Sequin, Wash., Beth (Brad) Long of Austintown and Mary (Robert) Schell of Brookfield; two stepdaughters, Dawn Harp of Monroe Falls and Debbie Court of Florida; a stepson, Sean Harp of Virginia; and a sister, Cheryl Hollingsworth of Utah.
Following her wishes, no calling hours or funeral services will be held at this time. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment will be at the Brunstetter Cemetery in Austintown.
