Russell W. Coffman

SALINEVILLE —  Russell W. Coffman, 77, formerly of state Route 644, died at 8:03 a.m. Sunday at Circle of Care in Salem.

Mr. Coffman was born Jan. 31, 1940 in Fairfield Township, a son of the late Russell and Helen (Ertzinger) Coffman.

He worked as a machinist at the former Ohio Hoist. Then he moved to Florida, and worked as a truck driver, delivering pop machines for Coca Cola, retiring in 2002.

He was a member of the former Lisbon First Presbyterian Church.

His wife, Cecelia (Ash) Coffman, whom he married Jan. 4, 1964, preceded him in death, April 30, 2002.

He is survived by his children, Cassie (Dan) Dunn of Holiday, Fla., Tom (Jen) Coffman of New Port Richey, Fla., and Tim (Michelle) Coffman of Salineville; a brother, George (Marsha) Coffman of South Carolina; four grandchildren, two step grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

No calling hours will be observed. A celebration of life service for Russell will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home.
