Richard D. Kimble I
ALLIANCE — Richard D. Kimble I, 84, of Alliance, died Friday at his home.
Born Sept. 17, 1933, in Deep Valley, Pa., he was the son of the late Russell A. and Sara Ellen (Barnhart) Kimble.
Mr. Kimble worked as a line repairman at General Motors in Lordstown. He was an Army veteran, serving as a sergeant during the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Mary Kimble; a son, Richard D. (Marcia) Kimble II; two daughters, Dee Roeder and Mary Labreque; a brother, Larry Kimble; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Judith Marie Kimble.
A graveside service will be held at 12:15 p.m. Monday at Highland Memorial Park in Beloit.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to noon Monday at the Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home in Sebring.
Military honors will be provided by the Salem Honor Guard.
