Michael A. Pastore

LISBON — Michael A. Pastore, 61, of Eagleton Road, died at 8:55 p.m. Wednesday at Vista Care at the Ridge following a lengthy illness.

He was born July 24, 1956 in Salem, a son of the late Fred S. and Ruth Ann (Willis) Pastore, and had lived in this area all of his life.

A 1975 graduate of Lisbon David Anderson High School, he worked as printer at Salem Label for 13 years, and then 25 years at Hess Printing Solutions and its predecessor Press of Ohio.

He attended St. George Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Candy (Jackson) Pastore, whom he married July 11, 1991; stepdaughters, Tracey Boudreau of Columbus and Sarah Pagani of Salem; sisters, Harva Blocksom of Lisbon and Ruth Ann (William) Heinze of Kernville, Calif.; brothers, Fred A. (Lori) Pastore of Leetonia and Joseph A. Pastore of Lisbon; and 11 grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Michael was also preceded in death by his stepson, Joseph Harrison.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with the Rev. Stephen Wassie officiating. No calling hours will be observed.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Boy Scouts of America, Great Trail Council, 1601 S. Main Street, Akron, Ohio 44301.
