Charles Jefferson Lloyd
SALEM – Charles Jefferson Lloyd, 61, died at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018 at the Cleveland Clinic.
He was born August 2, 1957 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Kathleen (Arrowood) Whitley and the late Marion Jefferson.
Charles previously worked at Edgerton Heating and Cooling, retiring before the company closed in 2017. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, gardening and bird watching.
Survivors include his mother, Kathleen (Bill) Whitley of Arkansas; wife, Jessica (Mauck) Lloyd whom he married July 14, 2006; a son, Nicholas Lloyd of Lansing, Mich.; two daughters, Heather Bennett of Richmond, Va., and Stacey Little of Perry, Mich.; two stepsons, Tony (Courtney) Courtney and Bobby (Katie) Courtney; a sister, Marcy (Ron) Cox of Woodstock, Ga.; a brother, Tom (Kathy) Lloyd of Canton, Ga.; grandchildren, Zach, Blake, Abbey, Kailyn, Mariah, Nathan, and Analise.
Services will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018 at Stark Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Laughlin officiating. Calling hours will be held from 10:00-11:45 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
