Clyde A. Stratman

SALEM – Clyde A. Stratman, 80, died at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.

He was born March 16, 1938 in Persimmon Grove, Ky., the son of the late Benjamin F. and Iverna (Daniel) Stratman.

Clyde worked in retail management. He was a member and Past Master of the following: Perry Lodge of F.&A.M. #185, Faith Court, Amaranth, Salem Chapter Royal Arch Masons, OMEGA Council, and Salem Commandery #42.  He was also a Worthy Patron and an Associate Patron for the Salem #334 Chapter Order of the Eastern Star. 

Clyde was also a member of Knight York Cross of Honor and St. Paul Lutheran Church in Leetonia.

Survivors include: brother, Kenneth F Stratman Sr.; nieces, Kelly L Schmidt and Kendra Edmondson; nephews Kenneth F. Stratman Jr. and Todd Stratman; great-nephews Alexander Schmidt and Joshua Schmidt; great-niece Evelyn (Evie) Schmidt.

Friends and family will be received Friday from noon to 1 p.m. at Stark Memorial Funeral Home. A Masonic service will follow at 1 p.m. and funeral service at 1:15 p.m. with Pastor Kari Lankford officiating.
