Mildred E. (Stanley) Kendrew

ROCHESTER, Pa. — Mildred E. (Stanley) Kendrew, 75, a lifelong resident of Rochester, died on Monday at her home surrounded by family, following a lengthy illness.

Born Nov. 8, 1943, in New Brighton, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Pearl and Grace (Cline) Stanley.

Mrs. Kendrew attended the New Life Community Church in New Brighton. She was employed as a school bus driver for Rhodes Transit for over 15 years prior to her retirement in 2000.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years; John Kendrew; four sons, Timothy Noling and John Kendrew of Columbiana and Richard Noling and Jeff Noling of New Waterford; three daughters, April Noling of Rogers, Tina Noling of East Palestine and Tammy Noling of Columbiana; a brother, Denzel Stanley of Scottsdale, Ariz.; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded by a son, John Daniel Noling.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home (linsley-royal.com) in East Palestine.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. All other services will be private.
