Hazel L. Todd

EAST PALESTINE–Hazel L. Todd, 92, of East Palestine died at 7 p.m. Thursday at Hospice House of Poland.

Hazel was born Dec. 4, 1926 in Rogers, a daughter of the late Thomas and Mary L. (Burson) Crowl, and had been a life-long resident of East Palestine. She had worked as a rivet welder during World War II and later had worked at the East Palestine China and Maxwell China as well as Ben’s Greenhouse.

She was Methodist by faith.

Her husband, Eugene Todd, whom she married Feb. 28, 1948, preceded her in death on May 26, 2004. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Diane Payne, and a grandson, Sam Liberatore.

Hazel is survived by two daughters, Kathy Liberatore of East Palestine and Cherie (Derek) Todd of Aurora, Colo.; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

All services are private with a private burial in Glenview Cemetery.
