Frank Tucker

BERLIN CENTER–Frank Tucker, 82, passed away peacefully at his home with family by his side on May 18, 2019.

He was born May 31, 1936 in Lisbon, Ohio a son of Elisha and Susannah Tucker.

Frank married Joan Baker (Cooper, Smith) March 19, 1977. He and his wife lived in Salem, Ohio and Berlin Center, Ohio over the past 40 years.

Frank was a 62 year Mason of 681 Masonic Lodge of East Liverpool. He was a Master Mechanic and taught at the JVS in Lisbon, Ohio and Cummins Engine Company and worked at various diesel businesses in Los Angeles, Calif. and Youngstown, Ohio. He also owned and operated FH Logging Co. in Berlin Center, Ohio.

He is survived by his wife; five stepchildren, Cathleen Finch of Ravenna, Ohio, Martha Rogowsky of Salem Ohio, Bruce Cooper of North Georgetown, Ohio, Ruth Ward of Columbia Falls, Mont., and Sharon Schandel of Iron Mountain, Mich.; a sister, Rose Stackman, Arlington, Va.; and several grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and a couple great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers Richard Turner, Alan Tucker; and one sister, Mary Wilson.

No calling hours or services will be held as per Frank’s request. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to the Cancer Society or Buckeye Hospice and Palliative Care of Boardman, Ohio in Frank’s memory.
