YOUR SIDE: The Readers Take Over

Appreciates gesture by the Salem Honor Guard

To the editor:

I would like to thank the Salem Honor Guard for honoring my dad (Daniel Sanor) at his memorial service on Feb. 8.

I had never been at a service in which the honor guard was present and it was a beautiful ceremony and send off for my dad who served in the United States Navy in the Philippines. Thanks to all who participated. Nicely done.

WENDY SANOR WAGNER,

Salem

Board of Mobile Meals thankful for support

To the editor:

On behalf of the Board of Mobile Meals of Salem, Ohio, we would like to extend our appreciation to the outstanding staff of the Salem Regional Medical Center which prepares our meals for delivery and the volunteers who braved minus zero degree weather to keep our delivery history in tact.

Since Feb. 2, 1976, Salem Mobile Meals has completed 312,115 deliveries.

We have never missed a delivery.

The board would also like to thank our Executive Director, Sandy Blankenship, for her hard work and again, thank our volunteer drivers who have weathered the storm.

If we can be of service, please call us at 330-332-2160 and we are always looking for additional volunteer drivers.

GEOFF GOLL,

President

Mobile Meals of Salem, Ohio, Inc.
