Encourages others to view the movie ‘Unplanned’

To the editor:

The movie, “Unplanned” is showing from through Thursday, April 11, at the Regal Cinema South, 7420 South Avenue, Boardman, located near the Holiday Inn. Show times are 1:30, 4:15, 6:45, and 9:30 p.m. today through Wednesday and at 1:30 and 4:15 p.m. Thursday. Although it has an R rating it should be a PG13 instead and is a must-see movie for all, especially teenagers.

The movie tells the true story of Abby Johnson, one of the youngest Planned Parenthood clinic directors in the nation. She deeply believed that she was actually helping women until one day when she saw something that completely changed her life forever. This event caused her to leave Planned Parenthood after working eight years where 22,000-plus abortions were performed. She subsequently joined her former enemies at 40 Days for Life and became an ardent pro-life activist.

My husband George and I saw the movie and it is heart wrenching, riveting and fast paced. The acting is superb and the music is beautiful. Although sad, it is uplifting as it shows the power of love and healing, mercy and forgiveness.

It is the fourth-leading movie showing currently and we hope more and more people will attend to show their support for the sanctity of all human life from conception to natural death.
