Excellent letter, Mr. Loesch!

I had an issue with the firearm in the center console, also. When training for my CCW, it was explained that the center console was OK for storage while in the car.

Considering all the press it got at the time, it's odd the Judge didn't know the law.

"Bradshaw's" comment on this at the MJ site was amusing: "Is this Judge a Democrat?"

@Leon White:

I think you are looking at this backwards. At the time the 2nd Amendment was written, the Kentucky long rifle was the most technologically advanced small arm of its time. The Founders knew this.

The 2nd Amendment isn't about hunting, it's not about target shooting, it's not about collecting. It is because the Founders knew the people had to be armed to prevent tyranny from the government. You know, like a President who bypasses Congress (aka the People) put his agenda into operation.

Obama, Reid, Pelosi, and their ilk are a cancer eating away and eroding our liberty.

And then we have the couple of people here who want the government to take care of them, and wipe their little bottoms.

Not real Americans.

Those who don't believe tyrannical government is possible ignore history and must vacation in North Korea.

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” ? Samuel Adams
