Must be why they are laying off employees - up to 400. Some have already been laid-off. Too bad they couldn't invested more in developing their employees. They should also invest in better safety training for their employees. Too many deaths over the last 5+ years.

I agree 100 percent. I also think allowing these companies to advertise is a waste of our energy money. The cost gets passed along to the consumer, and even though there is what politicians call competition it is a meaningless term. Most of the competitive companies are owned by the same parent, and even if it was different you still pay transmission fees and service fees, and taxes. Ready Kilowatt is no bargain in or budget, nor was it years ago when they had the market sewed up.
