Health dept. can’t give flu shots

Drug license not renewed in time

SALEM — The city health department can’t give flu shots or other immunizations until a new drug license is in hand since the required license to administer shots expired Dec. 31 without being renewed....

I think I will let my driver's license expire. Drive the streets and when I get busted by the Salem police, I'm just going to tell the officer "it was an administrative oversight" then just drive off and be happy! That response should be acceptable to that officer...right?

Heck if I found out that I was illegally administering drugs by injection I would be outta there too and not be associated to that neglect and incompetence!

What kind of excuse is "administrative oversight?" Common sense would tell you to contact the Pharmacy Board and have them fax or mail another invoice BEFORE it expired. And what good is a health dept if they can't provide the services when needed most? Might as well go back to the county.
