What a dummy. Everyone knows you can't miss a protection payment! The Mob will come collect.

Taxes are just legal extortion.

LOL @ any of you who think she should go to jail for more than 5 years. Do you realize what you're saying? 5 years is a long time for a non violent "criminal". She screwed the government out of money for awhile...good! They're screwing you and I out of money every day.

She broke the law. That is the point and nothing else matters. Do you know what the concept of a law is? TO DETER CRIME. In other words, you might not like the law but it's the law and if you are ignorant enough to violate that law that is the choice you make and the consequence you will suffer from that bad choice. 5 years is a harsh sentence no doubt about it. Exactly why you better think twice before you try to screw over the Government when it comes to taxes.

Peopleperson every thing you wrote is a moot point. This is not about a popularity contest. I don't care if she was the sweetest most loving woman in the world...SHE BROKE THE LAW. Her employees are victims and unless you are willing to admit it and how the tax system in this country is setup to protect even makes you no better than her.

You don't like this law take it up with your legislators. But I am not going too. If this sounds harsh so be it. I'm sorry she got busted. I know the argument will be she had many things that probably contributed to this financial problem. Her nice and sweet ways may or may not be taken into consideration of her sentencing. It all depends.

Now before I get bashed. I HATE THE GOVERNMENT with a passion. This is the same thing I complain about every day of the week but yet everyone always disagrees with. Government has wrecked our economy and everybody is suffering from it. Including Melissa. This is just that big picture everybody is willing to overlook. This is the trickle down affect. She was fighting the economy, you made the wrong choice and she is being held accountable by the same Government that contributed to it. The system in American is falling apart.

We are a country of laws and why I'm so outraged when our President continually breaks and even makes his own laws.

If this young lady broke the law, she will and/or should pay the price. Anyone else breaking laws is no defense...but I do feel sorry that she made these choices. I hate to see anyone go to prison.

I worked for both Roy and Melissa also, but he is MUCH more of a business-person than she will ever be!! He CARES about his customers, where all she saw was dollar signs to finance her trips to Vegas! She deserves everything she gets and more. She screwed many of her employees over bigtime, while pampering others to get what she wanted from them. I have no pity for her or any of her family.

"IamConcerned" you are so wrong on so many accounts it is almost funny. It is too bad you don't have the real facts. She cared more about her employees and customers than anyone. Perhaps you are the one spreading the lies. Hmm I wonder!

The facts are facts. The justice system has ruled. The place was just dealt a bad hand, and had to fold. Unfortunately, at stake were a good number of jobs, quite a few hopes and dreams, and a few dollars. Not to mention this sad facility that desperately needs total renovation, due to its extreme neglect over the last 10 years. Those are the facts. I guess that's all that matters. The constant backstabbing and sabotage between the previous owners, it's just the history of this place. Just like the old mans ghost, that roams the halls at night. It "could" have been saved. Now, with all the money needed to "really" fix this place, it would never show a profit. That's iy

motheroftwo, all I know is what I saw and I do NOT spread rumors. If you knew her so well, mayhap you were one of her pampered pets?
