If Chief Panezott would have suspended him with pay pending an internal investigation it would have been better in the long run. But by looks of matters, policy and procedures (lack of them) in place hindered him. Officer conduct on or off duty is fair game even with a matter non work related. There is a good chance this officer might come back on full duty.

Poage must have bad dates all the time because he is drunk 24/7.

Congrat's to Panezott for making it a suspension WITHOUT pay. Far too many times in the public sector we see individuals get suspended with pay, or put on leave with pay. It is high time public officials in leadership positions start managing their resources in a purdent manner. Thanks to the new Chief for this.

"Canfield Police will pull over anyone on that street."
If you are driving drunk you are driving you are driving drunk.
I think he needs a meeting!
If he did not kill someone pulling him over was a good thing.
See the dash cam and see him do dumb people tricks.

Canfield Police will pull over anyone on that street. They make up excuses such as "marked lanes, license plate light was out, etc." just to see what youre doing in "their" town. I'd be interested in seeing the dash cam video of the violation in question.

I'm sure Officer Poage will have a bright future in the unarmed security of the fast-food industry.
