ladybug...if you read the big print, you will see that the sequester is not a cut...only a reduction in growth.

The sequester is Obama's bright idea...congress gave it to him...he said don't you dare mess with it or he would veto it...now he says it's the republican's fault. Let him eat his own words.

You're talking about compromise but can't even support a "cut" in GROWTH. Where is the compromise?! It's because Obama said so too because under Bush you were probably screaming about the defense (offense) budget, weren't you?

I have seen reports that the defense budget was scheduled to grow 17-19% prior to the smoke and mirror thing called sequestration. If the sequester is not dealt with the defense budget will only grow 7-9%. No matter what the government still grows. Let it go into effect, the government across the board will be spending more than last year.

And what I know about you is that you thought George Bush was a brilliant president.

Either that, or you're a total sheep for cheering for Obama. They are the same guy, Obama just moves faster.

And what you don't know about me is that I think George Bush was a horrible president. I'm not stuck in the false left/right paradigm anymore, you are. But since your party is in power, NOW it's time for you to play nice and talk about compromise because you know it just means you're going to get what you want. It has up to this point hasn't it?

It's a cap on future growth, not a cut. A cut would make the government smaller. The government is going to grow whether the sequester kicks in or not, but it'll grow less if it does. But they've got you convinced that once it kicks in, you're not going to have something tomorrow that you have today and that it's going to be devastating. You think I'm a smart ass because you're blind, you're asleep and you're drinking the koolaid. You're part of the nation of sheeple. WAKE UP.

It's easy to say when your party is in power. GB had total control for 6 of his 8 yrs, And screwed things up preety good.

This isn't about power. It's about getting something done like the voters asked for during the last election.

So your saying it's not a cut in defense spending and other programs. What would you rather call it ?

Sequestation was meant to force both sides to comprimise.Apperantly that didn't work.

Sequestration is not a cut, so no, you don't understand it. And everyone thinks the person who is right is smart ass. If you have a problem with my "tone", then refer the 2nd word of this sentence to determine who's problem that is.

Can you respond without your usual smart ass attitude Grant. Apperantly not. Automatic cuts across the board ,with defense taking a big hit.

I would prefer they stay on vacation. You want compromise, and I find that some principals, if compromised will do nothing but lead to the destruction of America as we know it.

Time to let the party crap go, I agree, however you're only saying it because it's easy to say when your party is in power. Why don't you let the party crap go?

So, are you against sequestration, and do you even understand it? I'm guessing almost certainly no.
