You don't even know that they do lock the kids up in the classrooms during a lockdown ladybug. How can you have any input it you haven't educated yourself on the topic?

Nothing guarantees anything will work. I guarantee you what won't, locked doors. Lanza shot out windows and walked right on through. Why would anyone not bring a gun to a gun fight if they could? You don't pay armed guards, you arm school employees. Make the training mandatory to get the job and the taxpayer doesn't have to pay a dime. It's not as if its expensive to be taught how to properly operate, store and carry a firearm. If the principal at Sandy Hook had a gun instead of a "heroic lunge" we might be having a different conversation right now.

I have yet to hear a sound plan

What does it cost to lock down a school so one entrance is open during school hours. What does it cost to pay a proff. armed guard to be present 9 hours/day at all schools in a district ?

And what gurrantees this will work !

Prior to Sandy Hook. Documented in school board minutes. Removed the school resource officer.

Sandy Hook already has admitted their lock down plan was ineffective. Local police warned against it.

Proof of what happens when schools play God.

Maybe it's safer to lock them in the class rooms instead of running free where a guy with a semi-automatic can cut them down ???

Why is it that if a fire breaks out people leave and when a shooter is inside they lock kids in to await their death?
