HEADLINE: Sessions: Obamacare Will Boost Deficit By $6.2 Trillion
"The Affordable Care Act will increase the budget deficit by $6.2 trillion over the next 75 years, says Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions, the ranking Republican on the Senate Budget Committee.
He spoke at a Budget Committee hearing Tuesday, taking his numbers from a new Government Accountability Office (GAO) report to show that Obamacare won’t shrink the deficit as its supporters claim.
"The report reveals the dramatic falsehoods that were used to push [the bill] to passage," Sessions said, according to The Hill."
