Personally i think i'm one of the few who sticks up for the other side,

Put the blame where it belongs. Poor leadership in county offices.

1) There was no greivance filed

2) Maybe if you would try and understand the employees concerns .

3) Like i said theres seems to be all kinds of money when it comes time to cover up all the screw up by office holders.

Always easier to blow smoke at the little guy.

Lets see. We bring back one employee and hire another.Meaning 3 where trying to do the work of 5.

Oh there was money to help out the BWD who cost the tax payers over 6 million.

Must have been the union management running the BWD board.

The hero's running the county knew this was coming, Instead bailing out all the crooks and stupity running some of the offices they should have been investing in equipment and software,

It's amazing what you can get for free !!!

Why are you 10 months behind ? Why don't the county have it's own advanced equipment.

Is this the norm now ? Run to some other county for free help

Learn to do your jobs instead of blaming the workers all the time. Oh them dirty ole union people.

I agree STofit. I have a question. Which idiot representing the taxpayers in these Union contracts failed us? So much so they allowed Unions to take control like this and would allow this type of negotiation to unfold such as this. It is no secret I hate Unions but I am really starting to despise though sitting on the opposite side of the negotiation table. Grievances cost money and I would love to see the total cost in the county alone of how much money these grievances has cost the taxpayer with these garbage complaints.

Here is a department that is behind and is getting free help and the union may file a grievance. Here is the options, do it this way or stick it to the taxpayer and hire more union help. In my visits to county offices I have found these employees to be courteous and friendly and do their jobs well, and I am sure the employees understand we are broke. Unions are made up of these same people, but it stops there. The "Union" has it's own mind and body and many times does not represent the members. A union member may file a grievance, but can a union really act on it's own as they do now. Why not ask the union members from L W Nash or American Standard what the "Union" did for them. The tax payers of this state supported the employee's rights in the election 2 years ago, that does not mean they supported the unions rights. If there is a grievance filed because of this the voters will remember.
