Salem police rescue unusual would be intruder

SALEM — City police rescued a snake which had probably been someone’s pet after receiving a call at 9:22 p.m. Tuesday to respond to a West Pershing Street home....

Nice job there Sgt. Slider, going to have to nickname him the "snake charmer"! All's well that ends well! Good job Salem PD!

That sure was nice of Emily to do this and the homeowner helping with the tin...this is what I call community commitment and making Salem a better place to live! I could read a hundred of these types of stories! Hopefully that little creepy crawler can make it way back to the pet owner who lost it, that would be a more happier ending!

Don't even think about it City council! "Lions, and tigers and bears...oh my! LOL
