Regarding the SJBL issue. These are Jr. High kids, the best kids play the majority of the innings at that age. The "everyone plays" rules appropriately end after G league, unless something has changed.

Now, unless there are limits to roster sizes in the league the Salem Pony League teams are a part of, they should have had one team, even though it would have meant a lot of kids riding the bench. I do agree that if they were forced to "cut" (they never did this before because they were able to make 3-4 teams when I played), there should be a refund, because you technically never participated in the league beyond a week of practice and then were forced out, and I would assume nothing about a "cut" was stated up front or covered in any fine print, because they almost never (ans possibly have never) do a cut.

Ms. Stewart-Higgins, Lets face the facts, Your son is NOT talented enough to play the sport! Just because you think he is doesn't mean he is! This EVERY child should play is willfully ignorant! It's the same as giving every child a trophy for participation. There are winners and losers! It's LIFE!! Put a man in his life, teach him to be respectful and grow a set! Maybe then he'll learn that NOT everyone gets to be a sports hero. Your whining only makes supports the problem with todays entitled children. ACT like a parent not a whiney mommy!
