The White House is determined to continue spending, taxing, borrowing and printing money because it IS the exact formula needed to cause our fiscal destruction, Leon.

Good letter.

You all know every time the government prints money with their QE printings, all your savings, retirements, IRAs, are worth less? The same number of dollars in the account, but those dollars buy less.

notsocialist I can't believe someone actually disagreed with your last post. Really a disagree!! Someone must not have a clue what the cause and effects of inflation are or they would not have disagreed. Probably someone that thinks that the rich should pay a little more in taxes without understanding that it is going to add to inflation also and everyone ends up paying a lot more.

Unfortunately, even the grossly uninformed are allowed to vote. That's why we have a Socialist President.

If I could change the Constitution, there are two things I would do:

Anchor babies must have one American citizen parent.

You must have served in the military to vote or be elected President. (Why should someone be allowed to lead the country or guide its path if they're not willing to die for it?)

More people trust “Jeopardy!” host Alex Trebek, comedian Ellen DeGeneres and celebrity chef Rachael Ray more than President Obama, according to a new poll from Reader’s Digest magazine.

The annual “Most Trusted People in America” survey, released Tuesday and featured in the magazine's June issue, had movie and TV stars fairing far better in the trustworthiness test than political figures.

While Trebek came in at number eight on the list, DeGeneres slid in the 18th slot, and Ray took the 31st ranking, the president placed at … number 65.

Both former President Carter and first lady Michelle Obama did far better in the poll than the current commander in chief, at numbers 24 and 19 respectively.

But which individual do Americans say they trust most? None other than Tom Hanks — the “Castaway” actor took the top slot on the list.

And the people who took the poll, vote?
