swager,I believe that of the 70% that goes to our schools 70-80% of that goes to wages and benies

Land is their anchor. Everyone else cam avoid taxes to a certain degree. That is why they do it to landowners. 70% goes to schools and the list goes on for supporting the money hole, from state to fed. Schools are the worst investment employee wise ever created.That includes the "board"

There is a lesson to be learned here. Taxpayers, because the future is so unpredictable, and Federal level screwups are destroying us through State and local issues, when they come at you with issues that intend to raise your property taxes, start saying NO.
