Grant, I will repeat this since appears you still don't comprehend it and I have told you this before.

It is impossible to have a civilized conversation about drugs with you because you can't refrain from acting like a two year old.

I go to the south side of Youngstown all the time, it's called Boardman.

All jokes aside, I do leave the area quite a bit. In my travels, I get into some pretty bad areas, mostly work related. It's terrible elsewhere. The vast majority of the time, I can't wait to come home. But when I'm in those places, I want to be armed. Peace of mind is a great thing, even just to know you may have more options than just getting shot. Salem certainly isn't that bad, but having a gun is great for the exact same reason.

It shouldn't be every law abiding citizen, just as it shouldn't be zero law abiding citizens. The point is it's a personal choice, keyword personal. You don't have to own or carry a weapon if you don't wish to, it's YOUR choice. But regardless of the choice you make, you don't get to make my choice.

No one is advocating that everyone walk around with a gun on their belt--why must you jump to ridiculous extremes?

Gun ownership is up, and has been for awhile. And gun violence is down, those are just the facts ladybug.

The majority killed was unarmed. So are you suggesting that everyone should carry a gun.

Then turn every situation into a battle ground ?

The concealed carry law was to stop all of this ? The bad guy wasn'r supposed to know who had a gun causing them to back away.

huh over 11000 killed by guns in 2012 .Doesn't seem to be working well.

Because we have more guns is no excuse for the run away violence.

More gun deaths are a certain function of more guns. We have more guns than the rest of the world too, so that is bound to happen. The vast majority of the rest of the world also has higher crime rates, especially violent crime rates. An armed society is a polite society.

Absolutely. That's what I meant by people like WatchDog being extinct in a few years. It won't matter. It's coming whether they like it or not. Marijuana prohibition will end in the near future and it will be a great thing not only for our country, but for freedom loving Americans everywhere as we take back a piece of our liberty and stop allowing the government to tell us what we can and can't do with our own bodies.

Well I have to agree. I don't think where ever going to win the war.

As long as there is a demand ,someone will supply it.

I also predict with in the next3 to 5 yrs marj will be legal in most if not all states.

Just like alchol was yrs ago.

The best part is you can never really argue the issue with me WatchDog. Only put words in my mouth and try to paint me as some lunatic drug addict who couldn't possibly have any credibility because I'm probably high as a kite. It's really humorous.

Let me correct my first sentence...I've never called for the legalization of EVERYTHING--not anything. I most definitely support the end of marijuana prohibition.

I've never once called for the legalization of anything, but you're far to cowardly to ever have an honest conversation about this. That much you've made very clear in the past. Go ahead and post more bogus "news", you can't cite any of it or back it up. By all accounts, even from the people in the state legislator who didn't support legalization in Colorado, everything is going much better than even the most lenient prediction. Meanwhile, your solution is to do more of what has been done for decades and has only lead to the "problem" growing in every corner of the country. Your problem is you've cemented yourself so deep into one side of this that you've lost touch with reality and you're too much of a coward to ever say you're wrong. It's fine. You are losing every battle and every war on the drug front, your kind will be extinct soon enough and we'll get beyond our drug issues and move on to more important things.
