Since I'm going to be accused of stalking anyways, I'm going to keep commenting here so it stays in the most commented section. I want an answer. After all of the garbage and lies spewed about me, the accusations that I can not read, I want an explanation as to her inference that the Salem hospital is not private.

I'm sure this ends in one of two ways. One, she never responds. Two, she comes back in here and tells me how creepy I am for "stalking" her, how I can't read and that my mental health is lacking. Basically, she'll NEVER own up to saying what she said or try to actually explain it. She'll just try to paint me as the nut job and avoid looking stupid (in her own eyes) at all costs...

I guess we'll see...

Watchdog? Watchdog? Where are you???

"My local PRIVATE hospital? Private? You sure have a little difficulty understanding what a private hospital is don't you?"

I can't read?! I asked you to explain yourself, I didn't go off on a lecture based on a misinterpretation. I asked for a simple explanation. You were very passionate about this issue until I asked...now instead of explaining it, you want to take personal shots at me. Just explain yourself, tell us why I have a hard time understanding what a private hospital is...

I really just want an explanation! But it's typical of her to say something completely ridiculous and then never explain herself.

I'm gonna rewrite what I already wrote:

I'm hoping and praying that there is another positive consequence of the hospital getting bigger and better.

Salem needs new business/jobs. With a better hospital, perhaps we can cultivate related medical businesses in town. Whether its another outpost for doctors from Akron Children's, etc. to come in and see patients a few days a month (like in Boardman), or something dealing with medical supplies or equipment, or testing, or, actually I have no idea what options there are, but there have to be several. Some visionary needs to think of ways to spread out from here and help the city as well.

I don't know what the Sustainable Opportunity Development Center or other city groups/individuals are doing to cultivate business, but doesn't trying to capitalize on corresponding medical businesses make sense?

If more growth and jobs could develop because of this, Watchdog, I'm sure you'd be on board.

Alright, Watchdog. Explain to everyone how the Salem Regional Medical Center isn't a private hospital then...

Grant, you can't read comments. What part of NOT IN MY NETWORK didn't you comprehend? Do you think that doesn't TICK ME OFF? You think I like having to drive all over the state of Ohio or Pa. just to get health care?

When does common sense click with you?

You're probably clinically insane, so you can give me every bit of advice you want, just because it makes sense to you doesn't mean it makes sense to anyone else. You are not God, despite your incredible desire to be seen that way.

NO Grant, you CHOOSE to see it that way. What part of "DISAPPOINTMENT" of my comment could you not comprehend?

You CHOOSE not see it my way because YOU choose to make it that way just so YOU can feel good about yourself with this out of control game you have been playing with me for weeks. It is pathetic. In fact, Grant these issues you got going on with you inside your head...you really need addressed. In fact, it's really getting creepy with you.

"Cleveland Clinic does in a town of 11,000." Cleveland Clinic? Hmmm, don't recall mentioning them or comparing them. By the way, pssst, Salem's population is 12,000. LOL, or do you want to recall that oops moment?

"I mean look at you, you're literally on here complaining about your local, PRIVATE hospital's service after they spent a lot of money (that you didn't have to contribute any of by the way) to be able to provide better service."

My local PRIVATE hospital? Private? You sure have a little difficulty understanding what a private hospital is don't you?

And now that you have been running your drool! I am madder than a hornet. How in the heck did you luck out and get FREE SERVICES compliments of that PRIVATE HOSPITAL?

I'll get off track here, but I thank God for the local surgeon who 20 yrs ago stopped in my husband's hospital room and said I should take him to Cleveland Clinic.

He wasn't my husband's Dr. Didn't know us.

The local (Salem/Alliance) specialists were going to "monitor" something, after performing surgery to fix what they initially thought was the problem.

Cleveland doctor looked at same info and said he had kidney cancer, but it looked contained and so 95% sure removal of the kidney would cure it. If we had waited and it had spread, that cancer was not considered curable.

Cleveland Dr said cancer was large, and that since we were probably people that would credit God--we definitely should.

So I'm thankful a local Dr overstepped his bounds and said: Go elsewhere. (And I don't know if that would have happened in a bigger city hospital) And I'm thankful Cleveland is in our backyard.

(But I've read people don't have access to Cleveland with Obamacare)

He also had to retire on SSI because he couldn't work anymore.
