In case some of you need a history lesson:

"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

That is the 10th Amendment to the Constitution. If one of you would be so kind as to point out the part of the Constitution that talks about illicit drugs, and specifically marijuana, please be my guest.

Let us not forget that alcohol prohibition required a Constitutional amendment to enforce, because the power was not granted to the federal government via the Constitution. There is no such amendment for marijuana, or any other illicit drug. Which essentially means the prohibition of all of these illicit drugs isn't legal in the first place, it's the job of the states. If you want to talk about law, maybe you should understand it first.

Not to mention, is he really not upholding the law when it comes to Colorado and Washington? When is the last time you read the 10th amendment?

Whoever wrote this should be ashamed of themselves. A 3rd grader could write an emotional opinion piece without doing any research or knowing a single thing about the subject matter. But I'm assuming this wasn't written by a 3rd grader, rather a koolaid drinking adult.

Maybe Obama and Holder should go out an stick their noses in Colorado and Washingtons buss,

Of course the Salem News will then accuse them of something else.

The president just expressed an opinion.

But the local retards have to blow it out of proportion.

Lets pretends drugs don't exsist or lets pretend the fed gov, isn't spending $30 billion each yr. to fight it and loosing

"just say no" I still laugh about that one.as long as there is a demand people will find it.we need to rethink the war on drugs.how much has this country spent on it and what effect has it produced?
