rpmwwe I agree on that limited information remark. This article definitely was just that. I have a feeling that there is a heck of lot more that we don't know about and will not be privy to that info. Intentionally.

"Changing of an autopsy report" could be a criminal matter. What I would like to know is "whose" autopsy report. I wonder why it was never investigated. That is a serious allegation.

But then again, in this County, it would not surprise me. Dirty politics and corruption? Not hard to believe and why so many people believe it to be true. Right and wrong went out the window a long time ago.

I'm not going to draw any absolute conclusions on this matter based on the limited information given in the article, but enough information was given to suggest a possibility that at least some of the allegations are rather embellished, or simply false. Even if it turns out this case is frivolous and is dismissed, how much will this cost the county in legal expenses?

"Other allegations Bennett made against the coroner included a loaded gun, which she said was kept in Graham's office, but was later located in the evidence locker at the Salem Police Department."

This stuff is enough to rattle the senses! Isn't there suppose to be an evidence chain of custody? Or is this what this is about? Weird stuff, huh? LOL

Whistleblowers! Gotta love em! I haven't a clue how this is suppose to work. I always thought a chain of command was a BS way to slow the process to getting to the truth.

But can I ask a question. What was the coroner doing with the gun in the first place? Is he a ballistics expert?

There is just so much with this that just doesn't seem kosher.

Maybe one day we can get past the party affiliation game and actually make it about right and wrong. Sure would be refreshing!

I'm wondering how this woman knew the gun was loaded. Was she handling evidence and, if so, why is an administrative assistant allowed access to such evidence?

Corruption exactly correct!! First off who would go to all these agencies with false claims, its very obvious that these employees seen and heard things going on that they felt was criminal. As we read this its very clear that the attorney for the county knows the coroner done wrong so they make the main argument about the order it was reported in looking for any loop hole to keep this out of a court room because in the court room the real truth will be heard. As far as the gun eventually it was found at the pd nothing said about how long it was stored loaded at the office certainly it will come out at trial. We have 2 of the corrupt officials up for re-election this year auditor Milliken and commissioner Halleck they need to go its a shame this auditor will run unopposed but we can deal with the corrupt "BULLY" as Judge Pike referred to him its time for change Columbiana County it happens at the polls!!!
