The contingency money, in my understanding was given to benefit each ward or the city as a whole. More than one council person could pool their money for projects. 3000 of each council persons money went for the signs. Five other councilmen voted to pool some of their money for CIC. Mr Cushman and I still have the rest of our money. I have a project to benefit area teens in mind and mr Cushman has a crime prevention idea. He and I might be pooling our money to sponsor these projects as we both agree that they are important. But we have to get supporting votes from the other council members.

Hey, dd, ladybug was sticking up for you. Which was why it was so interesting to see you disagreeing with him, and now again put him down in a post.

I think it proves my crude but true post.

And you should know, a lot of people read these posts and agree/disagree, even if they don't click that button or post anything themselves.

Just ask around. I have at work--amazing how many people read these. (It's kind of like how many people read Dear Abby, even tho they don't write to her)

You're not winning friends, and have harmed Mr Nestic, if indeed he was your friend.

dogg is getting close to a nervous break down. People, people drop to your knees and recite in worship, "I am the obedient servant of the great and powerful council" Please spare us, we beg of your forgiveness oh masters of power. Please bless us with your forgiveness of our sin for questioning WHAT THE*****WE PAY FOR.

More this joker talks the more I hate this town. It is like living in looneyville with this fruit loop running loose.

My “comrade in harms”, Questioner, well put by saying “… dirtdogg just goes up the list and hits it for everyone.” I mean seriously, we’ve got a great misery chatroom going on, then he comes in here and gives an incredible list of progress in our city and quashes the negative spirit of “everybody.” And when you say “we can ignore 1 disagree because dirtdogg just goes up the list and hits it for everyone,” I know what you mean because whereas there are only 3 agrees or disagrees at most, it isn’t obvious that our group of nega-buddies are voting for each other. But you really got him with the licking reference and somehow turned “hundreds of volunteers” into it being how he only likes himself. Great watchdog logic, you should change your name to WatchDogtoo.

And fair friend ladybug, thank you for saying “Until all the groups and people with ideas start finding some common ground and eliminate the HS nothing will get better.” Excellent job of not connecting that the Chamber, City Hall, City Council, SAIDC, business owners and community volunteers spending thousands of hours (HS) to write the Comprehensive Plan and the TAC report aren’t “people with ideas” and that the 179 page and 70 page plans, respectively, aren’t rather ideal examples of “common ground”, nor does the mega-list of economic development accomplishments represent “things getting better.” Oh, you're so clever!

And then, since Wolford was acknowledged as an owner who actually did something good, nice going by jumping in on the personal attacks on him that not only claim he recklessly created a safety hazard to the public because a truck hit his building, but also inferring that he broke the law due to many “official notices on record holding him accountable by city ordinances.” These are such relevant facts and any pain it might cause Jerry doesn’t matter because no-one knows who we are (except us).

Hey dirtdogg, stop posting statements that might not be construed as cynical, let alone full of hard-to-deny proof that our city might not only have a bright future, but has actually been progressing remarkably over the past five years. JUST STOP IT...pop goes my negativity bubble.! As for my other regular blogger comrades, nice job continuing with my delirium. Not only do your crude posts show you’re of my kin, you’re geniuses for avoiding the darn lengthy list of incredible accomplishments, and instead focus our conversation on how bad the buildings were before they were beautifully renovated.

questioner, honestly, I love this. I want him to keep talking. NOW he is trying to incorporate everyone's comments. And every business owner in this city that has busted their hineys in this city as HIS ACCOMPLISHMENTS. A bunch of that stuff he is writing I never said and people know it. He burned his own political bridge and now he is running a desperate fix. He is trying to save face with EVERYONE!! Gotta love it!

"I had to duck pretty hard, but I also missed the restoration of former mayor Jerry’s beautiful building"

Oh that Mayor and that specific building that NESTIC allowed for him to take his good ole time in fixing, even though that building was a danger to the public for over a year? By the way, just out curiosity Dirtdogg, how many official notices are on record holding this mayor accountable by City ordinances?

But we all know now we can ignore 1 disagree because dirtdogg just goes up the list and hits it for everyone. Regardless of what you say.

He likes no one but himself (but we've all seen male dogs do that--not pleasant to watch, but par for the course)

And sorry ladybug for being crude but this guy is crud.

We need Watchdoggg to come on here and become Watchdogg's alter-ego. Some of you may not find that funny, but I would get a chuckle out of it.

Well unfortunately that's the problem

Watchdog can handle her own.Getting into more name calling solves nothing.

Until all the groups and people with ideas start finding some common ground and eliminate the HS nothing will get better.

You can take 10 people with 10 ideas and opinions and until they come together the longer it will take .

ladybug, I just don't like someone posting as if they were WatchDog and c r a p p ing all over her when they do.

If they want to criticize her, fine, others have and she can take it.

But why make up a name so similar and then use it to put her down? That's just personal and low.

Wrong.

That scaffolding and street being blocked off didn't happen until after the truck incident.

Jerry's building was a problem for a long time.

It didn't get fixed until after a truck hit something at that corner that affected his building.

I thought this blog was meant for people to express opinions . I guess it depends on your post name and what you say,

Personally it's getting a little out of hand.
