Just looked at older stuff:

sentenced by Judge Scott Washam to probation on a receiving stolen property charge for possessing a stolen Bobcat excavator worth $22,000

sentenced to additional probation time for violating his original probation imposed for robbing the BP station in East Liverpool while armed with a knife (violated his probation by admitting he smoke marijuana, failing to find a job, for still owing $952 in court costs, and only paying $10 of the $720 in his probation maintenance fees)

was sentenced to probation by Judge Washam on domestic violence charges (but) The charge was a felony because Coleman had prior convictions for domestic violence so he was required to serve 56 days in the county jail and another six months at the prison alternative facility

I am switching subjects, because there is no place to comment on police reports.

I am referring to today's: Probation granted on drug charges

Can someone tell me about Judge Washam?

Someone "violated his the terms of his treatment program by, among other things, testing positive for cocaine and oxycondone (he was sentenced there after 2 earlier drug charges) and failing to pay court costs" and got probation.

Someone else "sentenced to probation by Judge Washam after found to have violated the terms of his treatment program from a drug trafficking charges."

What the heck??

Man, somebody disagrees with these remarks? Wow.

Mrs. Wise on behalf of my family, we hope for success for both of you and your kids. My youngest son wants to be a policeman when he grows up. I hope that one day he can make us just as proud as your husband is doing for you and our town. Thank you.

Michelle, you have every reason to be proud. Even of yourself. You have a beautiful family and husband that has made a commitment to better Salem. Don't pay attention those disagrees, just miserable little people with nothing better to do. Hold your head up high, he is going to need your full support. In some sense, you have taken on a new job too. If it is any consolation, I feel bad that this was only a part time position. I won't give up until those are full time positions. That department will make the difference and I fully support them.

The very best to your family and thank Officer Wise for us.
