Watch me get into trouble on this one.

Let's recap with just questions. How long ago was it, when Mr. Herron introduced his brilliant plan for a motel in Salem?

How long did it take him to wage the war against a city council that has created this UNFRIENDLY business environment?

How many private agendas worked against him?

This shale boom will long be over before this City gets awake.

Unfortunately these are about the only industries that will thrive (and restaurants), since most all of the workers are transplants from Oklahoma and Texas, instead of locally hired. Had they not lied about hiring locally, more industries would stand to benefit as permanent residents would spend it on a broader array of things.
