LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court of Friday, a felony charge of escape was dropped against an East Liverpool woman, who is agreeing to plead to a first-degree misdemeanor charge of escape.

Paris M. Lovett, 21, Pennsylvania Avenue, East Liverpool, who reportedly walked out of Salem Community Hospital May 20 while nearly 9 months pregnant and an inmate of the county jail, had been transported to the hospital for treatment but was not permitted to leave. Salem police found her shortly afterward at a Monroe Street home.

Bond was set at $25,000 on the misdemeanor charge; pretrial June 3.

Samuel F. Masters, 32, county jail, was bound over to a grand jury on a charge of failure to verify address.

Scott Cassinger, 27, Lakeside Drive, Beloit, pleaded not guilty to breaking and entering. Bond was set at $25,000; pretrial June 10. Court documents state Cassinger is accused of breaking and entering at Hawk Laboratories, West Township, and that another man who confessed to breaking and entering told police Cassinger was his accomplice.

Sonora Donlow, 39, Monroe Street, Salem, pleaded not guilty to domestic violence; pretrial July 21. Donlow is accused of jumping over a couch, grabbing her 16-year-old daughter, choking the teen and punching her in the chest following a verbal argument. Donlow reportedly told police she grabbed her daughter around the neck as a measure of disciplinary action because of the argument.

A preliminary trial for Joseph S. Flynn, 48, North Pleasant Drive, East Palestine, on a charge of fourth offense OVI was set for June 23. Bond was set at $2,500.

Flynn pleaded not guilty to resisting arrest and speeding. Bond was set at $1,000; pretrial June 23.

John E. Carcanas, 43, Morrison Street, Struthers, pleaded not guilty to a third offense of OVI, hit-skip private property and failure to control; pretrial July 7.

Troy Everhart, 25, state Route 164, Salineville, pleaded not guilty to theft; pretrial July 8. He is accused of taking tubing from a cooler in the IGA parking lot in Lisbon.

Dominic D. McGhee, 24, State Road, Vermillion, pleaded not guilty to a first offense of OVI, marked lanes and a seat belt violation; pretrial July 28.

Mandy Jo Flory, 31, pleaded not guilty to a first offense of OVI; pretrial July 29.

Aaron M. Pierson, 18, Academy Street, Salineville, pleaded not guilty to driving under suspension, unsafe speed and stopped school bus; pretrial July 21.

Steven Huth, 19, Spillway Road, Lisbon, pleaded not guilty to driving under suspension and a seat belt violation; pretrial June 23.

Kathy L. Wilson, 49, Sunnyside Avenue, East Liverpool, pleaded not guilty to failure to move to left for public safety vehicle; pretrial July 15.

Mary Ann Presutti, 70, Midland, Pa., pleaded no contest to speeding in a school zone and a seat belt violation. She was fined $180.

Mary A. Landers, 50, Youngstown, pleaded no contest to speeding in a school zone. She was fined $150.

Donald J.D. Hays, 43, Sprucevale Road, Rogers, pleaded not guilty to speeding in a school zone. Bond was set at $250; pretrial July 28.

Floyd L. Smith Jr., 51, McCallister Road, Lisbon, pleaded no contest to parking on a highway. He was fined $30.

Denise Ritchie, 40, Butler Grange Road, Salem, pleaded not guilty to a stop sign violation; pretrial July 14.

Kelly Baker, 47, Camp Boulevard, Hanoverton, pleaded no contest to a lane violation. She was fined $30.

Newton V. Murphy, 23, North Cross Street, Columbiana, pleaded no contest to speeding. He was fined $25.
