4 The Salem Retail and Business Association will hold the Salem Heritage Day celebration from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The fall-themed event will feature Quakertown Trolley Underground Railroad tours, Civil War representatives, antique cars, children's activities, mums, pumpkins, and local clubs, organizations and churches featuring bake sales, information, and fund raisers. 4 A public breakfast buffet will be held from 7:30-10 a.m. at the Salem Masonic Temple, 788 E.State St., Salem. Donation is $5 per adult and $3 for children under age 10. Those children under the age of 2 are free. The menu includes pancakes, waffles, sausage, scrambled eggs, bacon, homemade sausage gray, biscuits, home fries, toast, fruit cocktail, orange juice, coffee and tea. Carryout will be available. The site is handicapped accessible elevator. Proceeds benefit the Salem Masonic Temple Building Fund.
4 A rummage sale will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at the New Garden Church on Route 9. There also will be a bake sale, and lunch available, including homemade soups, sandwiches, pop and coffee.
