The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Columbus was the site of the winter wedding of Meghan Rebecca Conrad and Nicholas Curtis Cavalaris.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. John Conrad, 2013 Pearce Circle, Salem. His parents are Dr. and Mrs. Constantine Cavalaris of Upper Arlington.
Father Michael Kontos officiated at the couple's double-ring ceremony at 4:30 p.m. March 8.
The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her father. She chose a LA Sposa gown in ivory Shantung silk with a sweetheart neckline and delicate crystal beading. Her bridal bouquet contained orchids, cream roses and tulips with chocolate accents.
Sarah Conrad, the bride's sister, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Monika Nicotera, the bride's cousin; Erika Lacure, Jennifer Johannsen and Rebecca Motter.
The flower girl was Caroline Edwards, the bridegroom's niece and goddaughter.
John Cavalaris of Lake Forrest, Ill., the bridegroom's brother, was the best man.
Ushers included Jacob Conrad and Lucas Conrad, the bride's brothers, Michael Edwards, Grant Jones, Jack Teagournis and Mike Mayer.
Approximately 200 guests attended the reception in the church hall.
Carolyn Mislan and Chris Edwards presided at the guest book.
The couple resides in Columbus following their honeymoon to Maui, Hawaii.
The bride is an interior designer. She received a bachelor's degree in human and consumer sciences from Ohio University.
The bridegroom received a bachelor's of arts degree from Miami (Ohio), J.D. Loyola University in Chicago, Ill. He is an attorney at law.
